Family Services
GCMS Family Services was established in 1997, originally funded by the Healthy Start Support Services Initiative SB 620. GCMS Family Services works to improve the lives of children and their families by providing culturally appropriate, integrated, accessible, strengths-based education, mental health, social and other supports and services.

The Goals of Family Services are:
  • To strengthen and stabilize families through coordinated, integrated support services and education.
  • To improve the academic achievement of students through strengthened and stabilized families, parent involvement, and prevention oriented programs and assistance.
